Terms of use
Effective 17 October 2026. Last updated 8 October 2026.
These terms are the agreement between you and Mahmad Basha, an individual based in Ireland, who runs Odysto (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
Your account
- You must be 16 or older to use Odysto.
- One person per account. Use your real email and keep your password safe; you’re responsible for what happens with your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
Your content
- Your photos and words stay yours.
- So that Odysto can work, you allow us to store, copy, resize and show your content to the people you choose to share it with. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other people already kept and the private bookmarks described in the Privacy policy.
- Only post content you have the right to share. Ask before posting other people’s photos or private information.
Community rules
Odysto has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don’t post sexual or nude content, hate speech, harassment, violent threats, encouragement of self-harm, spam, illegal material, or anyone’s private information without their consent. Don’t impersonate anyone, get around a block, break or misuse the service, or keep contacting someone who has asked you to stop.
Reports and moderation
- Use Report on trips, photos, comments, reviews, tip messages, live updates and profiles, and Block to stop unwanted contact.
- We aim to review reports within 24 hours. Content with open reports from three different people is hidden from others while we review it, and posts with prohibited words are turned back with an explanation.
- If something breaks these rules we may remove it, limit what an account can do, or suspend or delete the account. We’ll tell you why, unless that would be unsafe or unlawful.
- To ask us to look at a decision again, email support@odysto.com.
Travel information
Trips, picks and tips come from other travellers and can be wrong or out of date. Check opening hours, transport, access and safety advice yourself before you go.
Using the app
- Odysto is free and for your personal use. If we ever add paid features, we’ll tell you first and you’ll choose whether to use them.
- Don’t copy or misuse Odysto’s name or design, try to get into accounts or systems that aren’t yours, or interfere with the service.
- If you got Odysto from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple isn’t responsible for Odysto or for these terms.
- Sign-in, map and notification services have their own terms.
Changes and availability
We may change, pause or stop features, for example for maintenance or security. We’ll give notice of important changes to the app or to these terms, in the app or by email, before they take effect.
Our responsibility
We work to keep Odysto safe and running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law. As far as the law allows, we’re not responsible for losses that weren’t reasonably foreseeable, or for losses caused by other people’s content.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. This doesn’t take away any consumer protections the law of the country where you live gives you, and if you live in the EU you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
